Really amazing event 14 centuries ago when the Prophet by Allah split the moon?. Whatever comes from Allah and His messenger makes sense or not, then there is no option to reject it. So Prof. Dr. Zaghlul Al-Najar was quoted a story of the Prophet split the moon. The story is before the hijrah from Mecca to Medina Mukarramah. Idolaters said, "O Muhammad, if you are right Prophet and Messenger, try to show us the greatness that could prove prophetic and kerasulanmu (mock and make fun of)?" He asked, "What do you want? They said: Try to split the moon, .."

So the Prophet stood up and fell silent, then pray to Allah to help him. So Allah tells Muhammad to direct the finger to the moon. So the Prophet was directing his finger to the moon, round and split it with truth. So necessarily the idolaters also said, "Muhammad, you really had bewitched us!" But experts say that the magic, it really could have been "bewitched" person who is beside him but could not conjure people who do not exist on the ground. So they had to wait for the people who would come home from trips.
So the Quraish people were rushed to exit the city limits of Mecca awaits those who just returned from the trip. And when it comes the first group of the journey to Mecca, the idolaters were asked, "Did you notice anything strange with the moon?" They replied, "Yeah, right. Therefore, God sends down His verses: Indeed, it has been near the day qiamat, and has split the moon, and when he saw signs of Us, they disbelieve turn away and say, "This is the magic constant", and they deny, even to follow their passions. And every business has really fixed .... until the end of surat Al-Qamar.
